Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 200 × 294 cm. That is roughly 5.88 m² of floor, about 6.6' × 9.6'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
On the colourway
The stated colourway is blue / Türkis. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
