Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 250 × 352 cm. It covers approximately 8.8 m², or 8.2' × 11.5'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
What it is made of
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.

The rug is rectangular. A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 500,000–599,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
On the colourway
It is catalogued under blue / Türkis. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
