Overview

Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 300 × 410 cm. That is roughly 12.3 m² of floor, about 9.8' × 13.5'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.

Pile material is given as 100% Schurwolle mit Seide, warp as 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.

The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.

How it reads

Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
