Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 305 × 397 cm. That is roughly 12.11 m² of floor, about 10' × 13'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Materials and construction
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A format for large rooms, with space for an entire seating arrangement.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². This knot density balances pattern definition against hard-wearing construction.
