Hand-knotted in Iran: a Sarouk of 216 × 234 cm. It covers approximately 5.05 m², or 7.1' × 7.7'. Sarouk rugs are known for dense knotting and floral motifs.
Construction
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. Construction method: hand-knotted.
Where it fits
Large enough to hold a full seating group.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
On the colourway
The stated colourway is red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
