The piece in short
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 100 × 137 cm. It covers approximately 1.37 m², or 3.3' × 4.5'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
Construction: 100% new wool in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Format and use
The format suits the space in front of a sofa, a small dining table, or a study.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
On the colourway
The stated colourway is Weiß / beige. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
