A Tabriz from Iran, measuring 100 × 162 cm. It covers approximately 1.62 m², or 3.3' × 5.3'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.

The rug is rectangular. A format for a smaller room, or the area directly in front of a sofa.

Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
