The piece in short
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 200 × 308 cm. The covered area is about 6.16 m² (6.6' × 10.1'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% Schurwolle mit Seide, on a warp of 100% silk. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.
