A Tabriz from Iran, measuring 240 × 345 cm. That is roughly 8.28 m² of floor, about 7.9' × 11.3'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
Construction: 100% new wool in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. Construction method: hand-knotted.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.

The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
