Overview
Origin Iran, format 241 × 347 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 8.36 m², or 7.9' × 11.4'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. Construction method: hand-knotted.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
