Origin Iran, format 253 × 350 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. The covered area is about 8.86 m² (8.3' × 11.5'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Materials and construction

The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². This knot density balances pattern definition against hard-wearing construction.

How it reads

The stated colourway is red and orange. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
