A Tabriz from Iran, measuring 284 × 411 cm. The covered area is about 11.67 m² (9.3' × 13.5'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
