About this rug
This Tabriz comes from Iran and measures 305 × 390 cm. It covers approximately 11.9 m², or 10' × 12.8'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Where it fits
A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². This knot density balances pattern definition against hard-wearing construction.
Colour and appearance
It is catalogued under red and orange. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
