The piece in short
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 400 × 312 cm. The covered area is about 12.48 m² (13.1' × 10.2'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

The rug is rectangular. A format for large rooms, with space for an entire seating arrangement.

Colour is recorded as blue / Türkis. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
