About this rug
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 68 × 132 cm. That is roughly 0.9 m² of floor, about 2.2' × 4.3'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Construction: 100% Schurwolle mit Seide in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. It is entirely hand-knotted.

The rug is rectangular. Small enough to sit in front of a dresser or just inside a door.

The stated knot density is 500,000–599,999 knots/m². A knot count at this level belongs to the upper quality class of handmade rugs.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as blue / Türkis. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
