Overview

Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 91 × 66 cm. The covered area is about 0.6 m² (3' × 2.2'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Pile material is given as wool, silk, warp as cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Weight is given as ap. 2 kg.
