Origin Iran, format 261 × 355 cm — a Isfahan made entirely by hand. That is roughly 9.27 m² of floor, about 8.6' × 11.6'. Isfahan has stood for exceptionally fine knotting for centuries.

Construction

The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.

Size and placement

The rug is rectangular. A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.

Fineness of the knotting

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.

How it reads

Colour is recorded as multicolour. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
