Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Isfahan of 312 × 400 cm. It covers approximately 12.48 m², or 10.2' × 13.1'. Isfahan has stood for exceptionally fine knotting for centuries.
What it is made of
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A format for large rooms, with space for an entire seating arrangement.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
On the colourway
Colour is recorded as red and orange. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
