Origin Iran, format 204 × 309 cm — a Kilim made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 6.3 m², or 6.7' × 10.1'.

Materials and construction

The weave is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-woven throughout.

Format and use

A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

Weave

Because it is woven rather than knotted, the structure is flat and usable on both sides.

On the colourway

Colour is recorded as blue / Türkis. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
