Origin Iran, format 217 × 331 cm — a Kilim made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 7.18 m², or 7.1' × 10.9'.

Materials and construction

The weave is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-woven throughout.

Format and use

A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.

How it is made

Because it is woven rather than knotted, the structure is flat and usable on both sides.

Colour and appearance

Colour is recorded as blue / Türkis. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
