Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 148 × 203 cm. The covered area is about 3 m² (4.9' × 6.7'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Materials and construction
Construction: 100% new wool in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. Construction method: hand-knotted.
Size and placement
At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as blue / Türkis. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
