The piece in short
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 155 × 204 cm. The covered area is about 3.16 m² (5.1' × 6.7'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Construction
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Size and placement
At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
Colour and appearance
It is catalogued under blue / Türkis. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
