Overview
A Nain from Iran, measuring 168 × 233 cm. The covered area is about 3.91 m² (5.5' × 7.6'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Construction
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.

Large enough to hold a full seating group.

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
It is catalogued under blue / Türkis. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
