About this rug
A Nain from Iran, measuring 206 × 304 cm. That is roughly 6.26 m² of floor, about 6.8' × 10'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Construction
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². This knot density balances pattern definition against hard-wearing construction.
Colour and appearance
The stated colourway is blue / Türkis. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
