Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 332 × 220 cm. The covered area is about 7.3 m² (10.9' × 7.2'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Materials and construction
Construction: wool in the pile over a cotton foundation. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.

The rug is rectangular. A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
