Origin Iran, format 95 × 200 cm — a Nain made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 1.9 m², or 3.1' × 6.6'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.

Construction

The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.

A format for a smaller room, or the area directly in front of a sofa.

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². This knot density balances pattern definition against hard-wearing construction.

How it reads

Colour is recorded as red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
