Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Qom of 257 × 380 cm. It covers approximately 9.77 m², or 8.4' × 12.5'. Qom is known for very finely knotted rugs, often in silk.
Materials and construction
Construction: 100% new wool in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
Age and condition
Stated condition: ca. 50 Jahre.
