Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Shiraz of 166 × 268 cm. That is roughly 4.45 m² of floor, about 5.4' × 8.8'. Shiraz rugs come from a nomadic weaving tradition.
Construction
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Where it fits
Large enough to hold a full seating group.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². This knot density balances pattern definition against hard-wearing construction.
On the colourway
The stated colourway is red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
