About this rug
This Tabriz comes from Iran and measures 158 × 200 cm. The covered area is about 3.16 m² (5.2' × 6.6'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.

The rug is rectangular. At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
