Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 178 × 264 cm. That is roughly 4.7 m² of floor, about 5.8' × 8.7'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Construction: 100% Schurwolle mit Seide in the pile over a 100% silk foundation. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
