About this rug
Origin Iran, format 250 × 360 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. The covered area is about 9 m² (8.2' × 11.8'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Construction: 100% Schurwolle mit Seide in the pile over a 100% silk foundation. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
