Overview
Hand-knotted in India: a Tabriz of 153 × 215 cm. The covered area is about 3.29 m² (5' × 7.1'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.

The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
How it reads
The stated colourway is red and orange. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
