The piece in short
A Tabriz from India, measuring 204 × 292 cm. The covered area is about 5.96 m² (6.7' × 9.6'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of

Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
