Overview

Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 151 × 100 cm. That is roughly 1.51 m² of floor, about 5' × 3.3'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

The pile is wool, on a warp of cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted. Weight is given as ap. 5 kg.
