This Tabriz comes from Iran and measures 153 × 100 cm. It covers approximately 1.53 m², or 5' × 3.3'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as black and grey. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
Condition
Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. Being recent, the pile shows little wear and holds its full height.
