About this rug
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 201 × 299 cm. It covers approximately 6.01 m², or 6.6' × 9.8'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
On the colourway
Colour is recorded as red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
