Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 205 × 290 cm. That is roughly 5.95 m² of floor, about 6.7' × 9.5'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Where it fits
A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². This knot density balances pattern definition against hard-wearing construction.
How it reads
The stated colourway is red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
