Overview
Origin Iran, format 209 × 297 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. That is roughly 6.21 m² of floor, about 6.9' × 9.7'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.

Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
Colour and appearance
It is catalogued under red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
