About this rug
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 301 × 399 cm. It covers approximately 12.01 m², or 9.9' × 13.1'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Where it fits
The rug is rectangular. At this size the rug defines the room rather than accenting it.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
